Moodboard

After examining Irish Tatlers website I noticed they used a particular colour palette. I made sure to include this colour palette in my mood board and design. After looking at this colour palette, I released that it reminded me of 'The Great Gatsby. They used glamorous  golds and blacks with the occasional purple. This website has the potential to suggest glamour and class. Therefore it is my goal to help improve the design so it can reach it's full potential and attracted more clients/ audience.

Project Description Describe in as much detail as needed the digital media artefact that you propose to create (approx. 150 (include images where appropriate))

First of all I want to animate their logo, a lower third and create an indent. These will feature in the videos that I create for this magazine. I yearn to create videos for their website and YouTube channel. They have many fashion and beauty articles with only one photo allocated to each article. I wish to create a winter makeup tutorial video. The tutorial video will show the audience how to use the products and also show off makeup, etc. They will have a look book style. Finally I will create a gallery of the products.

How will the digital media piece you create benefit your chosen company/organisation (approx. 100)

The videos that I will create will capture the audience’s attention. It will help boast the amount of followers and views on their YouTube, Facebook and twitter pages. It will appeal to younger generations, which will help bring in more followers. It will help bring this magazine into the modern 21st century. It will also make their website more interactive and exciting. It will be easier for people to follow the tutorials.

How will the digital media piece you create enhance your chances of securing work placement with the company/organisation (approx. 100)

One thing I noticed about their website is that they don’t have any videos. There are many written articles about products, fashion and events but no videos. Furthermore their YouTube channel only has two videos from two years ago. I will be able to use my multimedia skills to create videos that will tie in with the articles. Furthermore I have many video ideas that could help bring this magazine into the modern 21st century. As a multimedia student I can offer my many skills and assist with their social media pages.  Furthermore I have the skills to create an animated logo for them which could feature on their website, any videos they create and on their multiple social media pages.
